How It Works
The key element is a fluid-fluid microreactor that is immersed within crossflow of the liquid to be analyzed. Here, the sensing material recognizes the target analyte to produce an optical response that is quantified by self-contained instruments. Sensing material is constantly replenished, ensuring that sensor performance does not degrade, even in the harshest environments.
Sensors are connected to a portable control box, where reagent canisters and other system hardware is housed.
